Timeline

Dec 2024 - Present

Team

3 Product Managers, Product Owner, 8 Software Engineers, Auditor

Following the success of the Disrupt initiative, I continued to travel weekly to collaborate cross functionally with product, development, and Auditors in person, leading the 0-to-1 design for the NGA platform – the full end-to-end audit experience.

As the lead product designer for the Execute phase experiences, I design key parts of the audit, using AI tools like Figma Make and Cursor to iterate, prototype, and increase speed of development. I also collaborate closely with product and auditors to make content and copy decisions that set the tone and help guide users. These experiences enable auditors to complete a full audit.

The Evidence match experience evolves the usual manual and tedious process in Excel, utilizing data ingestion and AI to match sample and evidence details. This first of its kind experience, required me to balance complex concepts with innovative design solutions.

The problem

Auditors manually review and match evidence documents against compliance requirements, relying on fragmented tools, spreadsheets, and disconnected systems to track audit progress and verify documentation.

The solution

A streamlined, consistent, and transparent evidence matching process that reduces manual effort, improves accuracy, and provides real-time visibility into audit status and gaps.

Evidence match has gone through several iterations. We have experimented with different layouts and conducted A/B testing adding key enhancements based on user feedback while making updates consistent to our changing design standards. The overall progression of Evidence match has maintained a foundational structure but the key functionality has changed.
